CIGAR BOX GUITARS / CBGS

INTERPLANETARY ROMEO

In this Instrumental Artwork, I wanted to represent the solar system along with a line I liked in the Split Enz song Poor Boy.

This amazing solar system we live in, is also vibrating along to the millions of songs that have been sung and played throughout the history of music on earth, and that musical vibrations may one day be picked up by another life form, in another solar system, in another galaxy.

The electric pickup used in this instrumental artwork is made by world renowned Luther Ted Crocker, and was made using wood recycled from the demolition of the historic Hopsons Gin Mill in Clarksdale Mississippi.

This wood contains the vibrations of a hundred years of blues music running in its veins.

The walnut neck and Spanish cedar dovetailed cigarbox all add to the intricate chemistry involved in creating this universal sound-system.

Because the woods involved in this artwork poses such excellent sound carrying qualities, the universe is happy to receive and reverberate this instruments pitch perfect, positive vibrations.
