I wanted to make sure the Viking Cigar Box guitar held as much power as a bolt of lightning. I had seen a couple of examples years ago from a cool guy called John Lowe, and i remembered seeing a John Lowe “Lowebow” cigar box guitar that was a three string cigar box guitar and a one string bass he had made in the naughties.
In homage to the great work John had done i was happy to emulate him with my own handwound guitar pickup and a Seymour Duncan wound bass infused onto my own handcrafted neck and Cigar box guitar.
