For this Instrumental artwork I blended together some of my favourite visual encounters from a weekend of travel I had sometime ago, to layout a design of wild imaginary proportions.
I decided to bind these visions into one prayer of love by using a blessed coin I had, with the image of the “LERSHI”, a God of Esoteric Hermits, I used to carry in my pocket.
The musical thoughts that came to me while making this piece were about the service Paul “Ramon” McCartney had done for bass playing and in particular the beautiful features of the Hofner bass he plays.
I mapped these thoughts onto the visions in place for the headstock design and I was lucky enough when a beautiful, “Double Mighty” Brick House cigar box came my way to anchor the artistic fervour.
