This instrumental artwork was made to pay homage to the immense presence the Sea has on earth. Everything on this planet is connected in one way or another to the many oceans that make up the Sea.
Since the beginning of his time on the planet, Mankind has been involved with the sea. Everything from Transportation to recreation, the sea has aided human endeavors to discover and understand the many mysteries that make up this planet.
Climate, Weather patterns, and 97% of the water stored on this planet are but a few of the vast amount of factors that are governed by the sea. Sustained ocean monitoring is key to insuring that we protect the very ground on which mankind walks on.
The sea today contains millions of tons of plastic trash alone, that is slowly breaking down into smaller and smaller particles but will never disappear from the surface of the earth. Plastic is made of petroleum and retains its chemical components. Plastic will never biodegrade. In fact, unless it was incinerated, all of the plastic ever made remains in the environment to this day.
Over the last 60 years there has also been an alarming number of oil spills and nuclear waste dispersals in the sea by the all the major countries in the world and the effect is slowly draining the ability of the sea to cleanse itself, and the ability of those countries to retain their integrity.
Having been a surfer and experienced the sheer beauty of being inside a wave as it barrels its way to shore I can say without reservation the sea is pure and is as close as you will get to observing a higher spiritual plane on this great planet.
