CIGAR BOX GUITARS / CBGS

SECOND WAVE

The Cigarbox Guitar, Fiddle and the Diddley bow were an Integral Presence in the trenches of WWI and WWII and these instruments have a deep history for providing entertainment to the wary infantryman.

I wanted to build an instrument that would be able to be taken into war as an easy accessory to bring about peace for a moment in time.

The number 601 represents the 601 squadron RAF and the efforts of 601 squadron in the battle of Britain to vanquish the evil of the time and bring about a peaceful end to a time where Hell tried to rule on earth.
