The love Note instrumental artwork was created using an exquisite cigar box I was given that was decorated with bright colours and ancient paintings.
The wood used in the construction of this box was special also. The wood on the base of the cigarbox that I used as the soundboard was made from Spanish Cider, which is a prized wood, used for tops and veneers on many electric guitars.
The wood is also the traditional choice for making the neck of flamenco and classical guitars. A beautiful complement to the cigar box was a pickup I received from a friend in the USA who made Art Deco style electric guitar pickups.
He even used items recycled from that era and incorporated them in his designs.
The size of the cigarbox also made it the perfect size for a women to play, and when it was finished it had a graceful, feminine glow about it.
